Licensed Pilot
Basic Course Information
A private pilot license allows a pilot to fly for personal use only. This course will provide you with a private rotorcraft certificate.General Requirements: Must be 17 years of age or older. Must be able to read, speak and understand English.
Prerequisites: Must have or obtain an FAA third class medical certificate from an FAA approved Aviation Medical Examiner. We will assist you in this process. In addition, you must be at least 17 years of age and be able to read, speak and understand English.
FAA Minimums: The FAA currently requires 40 hours of flight time. The high level of complexity and the level of skill required for the checkride make the minimum regulations difficult to achieve in 40 hours, but most students need a few hours of extra training to do so.
